This page aims to provide:

CEPMLP students & staff with an overview of the main hard-copy resources in the CEPMLP Information Service (IS).
The IS provides access to a collection of materials which is complementary to the collections held in the Main Library and the Law Library. Your first port of call for all hard-copy resources should be the Main Library or the Law Library. Core reading for courses is normally held in the Main Library or the Law Library. |

The external user, perhaps a prospective student, with an overview of the wide range of hard copy materials on offer. Please note resources marked * are available to the external customer for a fee. We also have publications for free download and for sale.

Annual Reports |
Annual reports and company magazines for the last five years are held for most of the large oil and mining companies. Earlier material is held in our archive. |

Books for loan |
The IS has a small collection of books for loan. The normal loan period is two weeks and this can be extended on request if required. To retrieve an item in the IS you need to conduct a search on BIBLIO from the Student Desktop, see the BIBLIO guide for details on access, or access post-2000 BIBLIO references directly from the CEPMLP Research Gateway on this website. |

Books for sale to students |

Click on the box above to provide a list of all of the books the IS offers to students at a discount. These books are recommended by academic staff to support you in your course work. Please note cash only payments are acceptable. CEPMLP Publications are also available to students at a 10% discount. Special offers will be made available throughout the year. |

This unique resource is held in a closed access section in “PCC” boxes. This collection, covering all of our subject areas, comprises of unpublished reports, draft documents, unpublished papers, working documents as well as some published publicly available material. The CEPMLP journals collection is organised in 2 sections. Please note these journals are not available for loan.
There are also a number of titles which will be of interest to CEPMLP students and these are available for reference in the Main Library, consult the UoD Library catalogue for location details. |

Laws Collection * |
This extensive collection of Laws from around the world is situated in cabinet 14 in the Reading Gallery. This collection can only be accessed by making specific requests to CEPMLP Information Service Staff. Click here to see a list of the Laws included in the Collection. For full-text, current Petroleum Laws & Concession Contracts from countries around the world, please view the "Basic Oil Laws" collection ( supplied by Gordon Barrows Company).
