IFP Exchange Programme
Since 1996, CEPMLP has enjoyed a highly successful collaborative relationship with the Institute Français du Pétrole (IFP) School in France.
Each year, a limited number of MSc students can participate in a one-semester exchange programme with the ‘Petroleum Economics and Management’ (PEM) unit at the IFP School, situated near Paris.
The quantitative nature of the management courses offered at PEM complements the taught MSc programme and this Exchange Programme offers CEPMLP students the opportunity of studying at a prestigious European institution located in one of the world’s most famous capital cities.
In order to be eligible for consideration for the IFP Exchange, candidates must already have enrolled for the MSc in Energy Studies Programme at CEPMLP.
Interested candidates would be required, in the first instance, to submit their CVs to Kathleen Shortt. The timing of the exchange to Paris is normally from April-July each year, therefore both September and January entrants may apply. Candidates must appreciate that all travel, accommodation and related costs associated with the Exchange must be borne personally. Dr Subhes Bhattacharyya, the MSc Director, is responsible for selecting the successful candidate(s).
Once selected, Kathleen Shortt will act as Liaison Officer between IFP and the student regarding administrative matters.

Exchange with the Washington College of Law, American University
We are delighted to announce that we have recently renewed our Agreement with WCL for a student exchange programme.
Each year the Centre can nominate up to two students (who must be lawyers) to be enrolled in WCL’s ILSP (International Legal Studies Programme).
Participating students must be approved by the LLM Programme Director who will take into account the academic performance and progress of the student when deciding who to nominate.
The host institution (WCL) will also evaluate the application of each selected student and while they will normally accept nominees, they do reserve the final admission decision for each exchange student.
Students accepted for the exchange programme will be responsible for covering all costs associated with travel, accommodation etc at the host institution.
Any student who is interested in this exchange programme should please submit their CV’s to Kathleen Shortt in the first instance: k.a.shortt@dundee.ac.uk
